The game moves in clockwise order. Each of the players should start building a train after the initial player has placed the 12-12. All the adjoining ends must be matched. If any player is unable to start their train, or does not have a 12-12, they must place a marker in that post where in their train should have started. The marker indicates that any subsequent player can play a domino in that position. But, no player is allowed to play on another player’s train or to start the “Mexican train” if this is their first turn.
